Quick Question

Alright I want a custom grille put on my truck, but I really don't know what to go with. I thought about maybe having someone fabricate one for me, and then get it chromed. What do ya'll think? Any ideas?

Are you talking about a grille insert or new whole grille? I made one, nothing fancy and very, very inexpensive. I call it the Home Depot special. It's not too bad looking in there, everyone at work thinks it was one of those expensive ones, lol. If I were going to buy an insert, I would probably get one from Trenz or Billet Specialties.

I don't mind spending the money on it if it is worth it. But I don't want to get the same thing that everyone else has. Know what I mean?? And I am talking about a grill insert, I don't want a whole new grille, just got one. Anyway, would it be possible though to have someone make one and then send it to a chromer?

Anything is possible if you work at it. To have something made custom and then chromed is very do-able or even get it done in billet aluminum and leave it satin. Sounds like a good idea to me. :)

me ... I'd stay away from the chrome ... but all black with a chrome grille is pretty cool too ... maybe come up with a design that is simple but different ...
