I would like to have a 98-02 front end on my 97' sonoma, just wondering if anyone has done this, or know what exactly i will need to do this swap? Seems like it would be a rather non-difficult swapped, just need to know what i need. Any help would be cool, thanks Austin.

youll need the healights and turning signals which are rather expensive, a new front bumper, grille, radiator support(there are clips which hold the headlights). thats basically it dosent sound like much but it adds up, plus paint...i rearedned a laddy in june and was gonna swap to a 98 front end...the prices def add up

I am wanting/needing a bumper from the 97 and earlier 2nd gen if you want to trade. :) It does have a slight ding in it (was like it when I got it and still has the mark from the dealer saying that they new about it) right in the middle and its not that big. Its a round ding that doesn't extend to the top or bottom of the bumper. I think that all I would need to do is take it off and tap it out. If you get serious about it I would really like to trade (if your interested).

Here austin check this site out. they have a complete kit, plus it has a bunch of after market parts in the kit. http://www.fbimini.com/product.asp?idno=4977 And Utahlugers here is a really good site to get new Bumpers for real cheap. i think i paid like $50 for my bumper (center part of the bumper) and it arrived at my door in 3 day with standard shipping. http://www.partstrain.com/products/Bumper_(Front)/1996~CHEVROLET~S10_PICKUP.html hope this helps.

98 it easy and fairly cheap. 97 gets a little tougher, it requires at least the 98 rad core support for all the proper holes. You can ebay just about everything needed alot CHEAPER than buying someones kit!!
My sons got a 98 Noma he has been thinking of using my 94-97 Street Scene S10 cover. All we need to complete this is a bumper with ends and brackets, then headlights, turns and grille I have laying around. Havent made his mind up yet, but I do have stock headlights and turns that are BRAND new if someone really wanted them! I also have a grille, aftermarket and a lower valance factory.
