I have a 95 extended cab with electronic shifting 4x4, i recently changed the encoder motor on the side of the transfer case, but I still have a low picthed grown which i suspect is the front diff not coming out of 4x4, this happens at all speeds. I have had to stop driving the truck due to this noise. My only other thought is the vacuum diagprahm under the bettery is stuck, in which case my other question is can I install the manual cable to the front diff with the electronic shifting t-case? thanks for you help

Sounds like the vaccum switch on top of the transfer case went bad. If you get a chance pull it and push on the button.

Just pick up one of those Manual Throttle Controls (the Red Spin-Loc style that you see in old dump trucks)
I used one on an old Feild beater I had when I was a kid,
works great, and you can get 2wd LO range with a manual controlled front diff.
