Putting a 2.8 ho engine in a 2.2 engine

will i be able to bolt the 2.8 engine into the tranny of the 2.2 or will i have to buy a new flywheel or something

I believe that the 2.8's bolt pattern for the belhousing is different and will not bolt to any other trannies that were not origionally mated to a 2.8.

You should have the T5 in your truck so all you should need is a new bell housing to mate it up to you 2.8. Of course you will need a fly wheel and clutch assembly meant for a 2.8 also. You may find some of those parts are interchangeable, but I am not sure.
