I like the torsion bar suspension alot, but I never use 4wd so I junked it all upfront... but I have not killed off the transfer case... can I use my existing tranny with a different tail shaft housing, and lengthen my drive-shaft, or would I be better suited to just swap tranny all together.... btw this is a 1988 s10 blzr... any advice, tips, ect would be appreciated.

The main shaft in your transmission is too long to simple bolt on a 2wd tail shaft, you would need a 2wd main shaft or a 2wd tranny...either or. I had the same problem trying to bolt on a transfer case onto a 2wd tranny, so no I'm rebuilding a 4wd trans to go in.
