Yeah I let my boyfriend borrow my truck, and he SAID that he was driving down the road that his parents live on (dirt/ rock road) and supposedly he was going around a turn and there was a guy on a 4 wheeler not paying attention and was coming around the corner straight towards my truck, and he had to run off the road to miss the guy and hit a rock. After asking questions, I determined that Wayne was looking behind him and turned around and saw the guy and over-reacted and ran off the road into a rock. Grrr.. take it from me, don't let anyone borrow your truck.

Yeah I got that now, but there were different circumstances. He lives with me, we've been dating for 3 yrs. and his truck is broken down and we don't have a spare vehicle, and he needed to go pick up a windshield to get his truck up and going.

No biggy, looks like it can be fixed no problem(on his nickel lol). I lost my whole bumper cover on the freeway when I hit an aluminum extension ladder laying in the middle of the road while I was goin about eighty. It was pretty amazing the way both the ladder and my fiberglass totally disintigrated LOL. Atleast I didnt hurt anything else, like my alum. radiator and fans. Nobody but nobody drives my dime! I only had to punch myself in the balls when I got home!

Well at least he has the ability to fix it. He has already proven that. Just put him on a hunger strike until he fixes it. ;) He will do it quickly.

that sucks, but it looks like an easy fix take it from someone who has the whole driverside bed and cab corners to fix due to mailboxes. I'll trade damages with ya hows that ;) kidding but seriously a lil fiberglass an some new paint and a light an it'll be goood as new.

Wow...that sucks. Any more damage to that piece & you'll probably just need to get a new one...I don't know if it'll help you but when I bag Xtremes I make a relief cut in the bottom center of that piece. It's inevitable that it'll hit something and the relief cut helps prevent major damage by having a place to flex under pressure.

How did he do that damage..............looks strange as the scratches are on the top of the spoiler/air dam?? :confused:

no they are on the bottom of the bumpercover, the crack is on the top corner of it. Yeah I know it is very fixable, but we're both broke as broke gets right now so it's gonna be a while. The part that I was mad about was that he wasn't paying close attention while driving my truck, when I drove his I was as alert as hell lol borderline jumpy. lol and he knows that truck means wayy too much to me.. I told him to never make me choose between him and my truck! lol

Boo on that! Time for a new BF...:D

I've stuck by this one for MUCH worse things than some scratches on my bumpercover, I'll let him get away with it this time lol

Just my dad gets to drive my truck. I never let anyone else drive my truck not even up the driveway. I don't even leave my keys in my truck when it's in the building on the hoist at work.

A mechanic tried to start it when I wasn't there and he flooded the living crap out of the motor. He must have pumped the pedal five times and I just pulled the truck in the building not five minutes before that.

I can only blame myself if something happens to it.

I let my dad, mom, little brother, girlfriend, and cousin drive my truck where ever as long as its not gravel. They all know the rules...

RULES-->

#1- If you break, bend, smash, crinkle, dent, ding, cut, slash, over heat, loosen up, burn up, burn off, twist, miss align, I hear of, or catch you doing anything.... YOU pay for it, and I only accept cash.

#2 -Don't ask to drive my truck unless you fully understand rule number one.

Thus, my rules. :D

Its not THAT bad. Could be worse though. At least he didnt hit the 4 wheeler, or get hit by another car like i was. broke off a bumper clip, pushed the bumper back about a inch and half and pushed my fender flare like centimeters before the tire, so when i turn, it would catch and crack it. 1000$ to get a new bumper. Stupid hit and runs are worse. least you can kick slap him around until he fixes it out of HIS pocket.
