I have an 01 sonoma and i got some SS side mirrors for it. The mirrors are black and the truck is white, it doesnt look bad i just want them to match, so what would be the best way to go about painting plastic as far as preping it and just getting everything to stick?

Make sure they are clean and dry then spray them with automotive primer. It will be a good base for your color and it bonds to just about everything.

Are you gonna spray them with a gun, or spray paint them?

FOR PLASTIC use the adhesion promoter. u can scuff it first so it soaks in faster. then prime, non sandable is smoother but take lil skill!

If you're doing it on a tight budget, here are the steps I would do.
1.Scuff them with a grey scotch brite pad until you can't see any more shiny spots 2.clean them with a wax and grease remover
3.spray ashesion promoter
4.spray your color(use light coats)
5.spray them with a clear coat to protect them
Duplicolor makes some pretty good spray paint, and bulldog makes the adhesion promoter. I hope this helps.
