I've got a harness, but I'm not 100% sure where everything goes. I made a drawing of it, and it's okay to point and laugh. Any help?

Good ol' Google search. Comes up with the way I wire all fogs/auxiliary lights.

Thanks Rink. The only one I'm worried about is the one to the toggle switch, but after looking at that diagram I'm pretty sure it's the white wire. Is that right?

What kind of switch are you using? Is it a 2 post switch or a 3 poster?

I haven't got one yet. The white wire goes into what looks like a connector, and I think it plugs into the original switch. That's the only thing I can figure. That way the white wire would be the acc., the black is a ground, and the yellow is the power.

That way the white wire would be the acc., the black is a ground, and the yellow is the power. It depends on your switch, but as long as you put those 3 wires on a 3 post switch (on, off and an LED light when on) then it'll work out. Just follow the wiring diagram on the switch.

Thanks Rink. Do you think that 5 amp fuse is right for two 55 watt bulbs? Hopefully it will quit snowing and get warm enough to put them on tomorrow.

If you re-read that link I posted earlier it says a pair of 55 watt fogs will pull about 8 amps but I disagree with just that part. 110 watts of lighting at 12 volts requires 9.17 Amps. (little helpful equation, Amperage = watts divided by voltage. 110/12=9.166666)
I'd move up to a 10 amp relay, but then again I use 15A most the time and run more powerful bulbs.

Hi,
I really wanted to keep my nose out of this thread but I cant as Ive seen toooooo many cars go up in smoke due to incorrect wiring.
You must follow that diagram that Rink said on the link religously.
I would then add to what Rink said by...........use a 20AMP relay ( for safety) better to be over the top for a few pennies more.
Then you must use wiring capable of taking at least 15 amps if you use a 15 amp fuse. That is from the battery source to the fuse on to pin 30 at the relay and out again from pin 87 to the fogs then out again from the fogs to ground.
If in any doubt about this dont do it.

The relay is a 30amp, but I was just wondering if someone blew the old fuse and stuck a 5 amp one in there.

If youve got a relay that is 30 amp that will be fine as its Capacity is to take 30 amp which is well over what you should need.
Not quite sure what you mean about a 5 amp fuse being in the circuit though.
As if you see Rinks line that will instantly blow when you put your fogs on?????

The fuse is inbetween the relay and the battery. The guy I bought the lights off of didn't know anything about them. He got them to go on his truck, but changed his mind. I handed him $5 and he gave me the lights(which were blown) and a wiring harness.

It shouldnt take you long to make a new harness and follow through with that link from Rink( hey , that was good).
Am I missing summit here, you said the lights are blown!!!

I hooked them up today and they work fine. The bulbs were blown, but I found some replacements at good ol walmart.
