how hard is it on these half shalfts to change just the boot

To properly replace the CV boot, you will have to remove the half-shaft from the front end. DO NOT USE THE SO-CALLED "SPEEDY BOOT"!!! When you buy the replacement boot, there will be instructions in the box to show the proper removal and replacement.

i am actually in the army and we had a few extra hummve boots lying around, there the same size i was just wondering how hard it is to take the actual joint apart to get the new boot on
