Third door handle replacement

I know this topic has to be in here somewhere but my third door handle broke. I bought one on e-Bay and there are no instructions on how to replace the broken factory one with the aluminum one I bought. There must be instructions somewhere can anyone tell me where or how to do the change out?

Also, with regard to torx, how are they sized so I can purchase the one I need from Sears without having to purchase a whole set of them?

Replaced my third door handle assembly in a year on my 03 Sonoma. I have owned two other Sonomas before this one and never had a handle bust. It is good to know there is a more robust steel replacement available.

If you look on the index page of this how to forum you will see "how to adjust your third door". It claims that mis adjustment of the top and bottom latches causes these failures. When I replaced this last one a month ago I checked and it was out of adjustment so I adjusted it per the article. To early to tell if that solved the problem for good.
