How do you replace the middle part of the rear sliding window on a 91 S10. Or, if thats not possible, I have a complete rear window set, how would I replace the entire unit?

to replace the hole window you have to remove the trim peices on each side of the window. There is a seal all the way around that that you need to pull away from the window so the window will pop out. You can re use the seal if it's ingood shap.

Eary!!! Forget trying to replace the middle slider, just replace the whole window.
1. Remove old window. Cut the trim or whatever you need to get it out. Just do not ruin the metal frame.

2.When the old is removed buy a piece od 1/4" nylon rope and starting at the bottom leaving a 1' tail of rope run the rope around the window inside the rubber molding until you end where you started. Again, leave 1' of rope tailing off the ends.

3. With a 2nd person have him set the window into the opening bottom first. Make sure the rubber trim is over the window opening with the rope tails to the inside if the cab. As person #2 holds the window in place, you being inside will slowly pull the rope tails until the rubber trim has flipped over the sill all the way around the frame.

4. Start pulling one of the ropes. While pulling the tails you should see the rubber flip over the opening. If not, start over. You should be able to pull the entire rope staight out towards the front. Not sideways, straight out.
