caddy taillights

alright guys i got a 01 dime wanting to put in some caddys have 88-92 (i believe) caddy taillights they are stamped 88 they are the long narrow ones have all the fillers harnesses everything needed my question would be how do i get them in the bed we tried but they were too long do i go past the body line??? Need help desperately?? Im working with a body man but he has never done this and it is all we got left on my body before paint so any help would be appreciated

set them where you want them draw with a marker or your prefrence then cut out where youve drawn with a grinder or whutever werks for you then install find where you can bolt them in most the time ittl be on the inside of the bed and underneath next you get your body man to fill in the cracks sand bolt on prep and paint if you need more presise info hit me back

You can get mini caddy tails from candospecialties. To make your long ones work you'll have to sink them in pretty far to clear all of the body lines and contours. If you just pulled them off of the car you can buy the metal buckets. They're deep enough to sink them in and all you'll need to do is trim the part that's sticking out.
