4.3 and 2.8 injectors

recently one of my intectors went out on my stock 2.8 i was only able to find injectors for a 4.3 in the junkyard, are these the same as the 2.8 and will they cause any problems on my engine? Thanks

The 4.3 injectors are larger then your stock 2.8 injectors. They will fit in place but they inject a lot more fuel. I am not sure of the effects of having 4.3 injectors in a 2.8. But one thing I am sure of is I would not mix and match injectors either go either both 4.3 or both 2.8. If I were you I would keep looking and pick your self up the correct injectors (less room for problems). I have seen 2.8 injectors on ebay, if you are interested. Good luck.
