I just posted on the old site, but figured some people have moved already, so ill ask. I broke a Sensor behind my intake manifold and dont know what sensor it is. It sits at 90 degrees to its input line and goes directly into the motor.
I have a 2000 4.3 Vin X with a manual if its needed. What sensor is this so i can get it replaced and get my truck running again(im changing the motorso its not the only thing holding me back)

I answered this on the old site also, it could be an oil pressure switch that controls the fuel pump for low oil pressure shutdown.

Im going to take it to my parts store and ask for the oil pressure switch, it sounds logical becuase its just a ninty fitting out of the motor. It broke at the plastic though, not at the ninty, so it isnt stuck in the motor.

Im sorry if this was an honest question that ahd nothing to do with how to lower a truck. But it is a forum and I was hoping someone would know. Im glad your attitude is in the minority on this site.

It's the oil pressure switch. It can be unscrewed from the 90* bend.
