I haven't been on in about six months or more I guess. Kinda got out of it around October, but I'm back and I will be posting some new pictures tonight. I've got 20's now. :) KMC SS'

By the way it looks like the forum has gotten an upgrade. Is Mike back or something? It's awesome.

Fixed and sold a long time ago, went towards becoming debt free. I'm debt free and I just dropped cash down on tuition for college.

I have always said that I would never get rid of any of the ZQ8 elements of my truck... However in the back of my head I have always thought I would trade my wheels away if I were to come upon some Torque Thrust inspired wheels at a good deal. Needless to say a week ago I came across some KMC SS for 100 bucks boot.
There was a catch though! One was missing a center cap, and the caps are no longer available for the PRESS in rims. The guy thought he was getting a good deal, however he didn't know who he was trading with. I have fabricated some custom lug nuts that allow me to attach the screw-on type caps. So I got a center cap for 15 bucks. If anyone has these wheels and would like to know how I did it tell me and I'll post a tutorial.
Anyhow, the V8 5.3 SWAP is waiting until 2010. In 2010 I will be purchasing a my next vehicle and the S10 will be sat aside for a while so the swap will be possible. Hopefully I can finish it before December 2012 (j/k) :P
So these wheels have shown me how high my truck really is and I think I need to lower it an additional 2 to 3 inches.
Here is how she is now (not washed):

And here is how she will be if I lower her about 3 more inches:

By the way I paid for the better forum service.. I noticed that I can't edit posts anymore?

You can still edit posts but only within a timely manner. I'm not sure what the time limit is but if you edit the post within the first 10 minutes I think you should be alright.
EDIT: See...plus I really like the stance. A 2/2 drop would do your truck justice.

truck looks sick with the rims. and the drop would be a nice touch.
