Misfire

For the past 6months I've been having the same issue. About every 3k miles my 95 s10 starts to misfire and backfire. The first time around I switched out my spark plugs with acdelco that sloved the issue for about 3k miles then it started happening again. That time I switched out the spark plug wires, that sloved it for about another 3kmiles and now its happening again. Any ideas on what it could be?

cap, rotor, and check and correct the timing....do the timing first, if that is ok, make sure your cap and rotor are ok.

change the cap and rotor out, do a brass terminal set tho, not the cheap aluminumpost. i have had tons of trouble with them in the past so all i'll run now is brass.

chekcing the timeing isnt a bad idea either, if you know what your doing with it.
