VIN stamp on chassis

I can't find the VIN on my 2WD_1991 other than on the tag below the windshield and the driver's door jamb. Did Chevrolet stamp it somewhere on the (main) chassis like most automakers do?

nope sorry bud....and most automakers dont stamp all the parts or even the frame...only stamped numbers you will find will be casting numbers and part numbers

when i changed my 4x4 to 2wd the 2wd frame had the vin stamped on the top of the frame rail i think it was under the drivers seat or on top of the driver side frame rail under the bed. the only bad thing is you have to remove the bed/cab to see it!
