4.3 TBI question.. Need help

Ok.. I've got an 89 4.3 TBI.
My idle was high so I replaced the throttle body gasket (wasnt much left) since I replaced it my idle has gone up by about 1,000 rpm..
Can someone tell me (very specifically) how to adjust the idle.
I saw one thing that had me jumpering an ODB connection and doing all kinds of things.. Does someone have some really clear (dummy proof) instructions?

I figured it out.. I missed some of the gasket on the bottom side of the throttle body. D'oh! As soon as I got it cleaned up and bolted back down it was a lot closer to where it should be.. To get it right where I needed it I adjusted the minimum idle screw on the front drivers side corner of the TB.. It took a #15 torx to adjust if anyone was wondering..
