Loose brakes

I just got new pads put on the front of my truck and it feels like when I stop now I have to push the brake almost to the floor to stop, whats going on?

When you changed your brake pads did you let your calipers hang from the brake lines ? That's what it sounds like to me
If those lines get streached they make it feel like there is no brake pressure
replacing them will solve it
If you didn't let the calipers hang after you removed the pads then I'm clueless
