First off I love autozone, but I went to autozone and purchased a new Idle Air Control valve for my 4.3 TBI. When I got home and replaced it I noticed a VERY loud vaccum sound. Luckily for me I bought a TBI with injectors, IAC and Fuel Pressure regulator from ebay for $65 (great buy right). When I got the TBI in the mail I wanted to put the new IAC on it. (I didn't want to waste the $62 i spent on it). When i took them both out and compared them. I noticed that the stem on the one purchased from autozone was about 1/2 inch too short! This was creating a vaccum and making my truck run like sh*t. If you are going to buy a new IAC from autozone make sure you compare it to the one you are taking out before paying for the new on. It may NOT be the same part.
I went into autozone the next day and ask to see another one. I made sure to watch what they pulled up on the computer and compared the one they let me see to the one in their system. Come to find out they have the wrong part listed for that vehicle.
Just wanted to let you all know so you dont end up spending the $$ just to be disappointed.
