I'm back! Its been forever.

New front bumper (http://www.andrewalbin.com/Truck/front.JPG). Its a brand new factory GM Cameo bumper. Paid $200 for it off eBay. I'm going to cut off the top lip so it will work with my 93 grill. I'm trying to see what fog light to use. One off an extreme or old skool factory style.

The 'Ol 2.8L is gone. Sold it to a dude in Tenn. Motor, tranny and all.
Here's some pictures of my progress on my 6.0 swap. Its a 364 LQ4 6.0L. Paid $250 for the long block. Came out of a 03 Hummer H2. Has 80K miles on it. Customer wanted a new long block put in. I bought the core w00t. I haven't done much. I just gutted the motor down. Just spent $5300 on a new bike (http://www.andrewalbin.com/Bike/02HondaF4i9.jpg). I need to save up some mo dinero and send it off and get it bored, cleaned up, etc... Lots of things I'm going to have to buy.

My plans:

Clean up the engine
New cam
Port/polish heads ( polish the the valve covers )
New internals for heads
B&M ripper shifter
2 piece front timing cover
Accessories
Billet Pulleys
Tranny T56 Tremec 6 speed w/ built internals
Rear end ( don't know yet )
new drive shaft
New brakes ( convert to disc in rear )
Headers - Long tubes with 3" collectors
3" Y pipe. 3.5" from end of the Y to Muffler
Electric Cut out
No cats
Fuel pump
Motor Wire Harnest
Got engine mounts ( Paid $60 for them. $18 for the friggin factory bolts )

I don't know what to do for the top yet. My choices :

I'm going to use all GM performance parts inside. I work for a Chevy dealership. So I can use my discount.

good job man. keep takin them pics. i love watching someone elses pride and joy come together. im envious of the bumper too. know of any others for sale? the rear end looks clean with those tips too. the intake from MORE is drop dead gorgeous but thats quite a price tag it carries. and you might want to turn that engine around in the bay before you get too far. j/k. that discount must be nice. i just spent a sh1t ton on gm performance parts for my turbo motor and i really wish i had a discount. you got yourself a pricey build on your hands, i just hope you actually finish it. the local papers here have so many projects for sale that people cant afford to finish. keep us posted

welcome back! Yes it has been a while...I remember you posting about your wheels.

It's good to see your progress.

Nice choice on the bumper cover.

Do you still like the wheels?...do they rub? etc..

I sold those Z06 wheels. I haven't drove the 1991 in a year. So I have just some 'Ol skool rallys 15x7, 15x8. Rears are Nascar slicks. 28x10x15.

Maybe different wheels : http://www.andrewalbin.com/Truck/Flames1.jpg

I'm selling my 18s off my 01 xtreme if anyone is interested. I'm going to buy the new 17x8 SLPs in chrome.

Those slp's are nice. I was thinking of getting the non-chrome ones for my dime but I haven't got around to calling them to find out the backspacing on them. Keep us posted on the progress of your truck.

That is one nice truck. Very partial to maroon. Hopefully the link worked and you can see a pick of mine. LT1 6 speed 17x8 and 17x7 centerline Sunray II wheels.

What a sweet wheel. Do you know the backspacing? Are they available in natural finish so I can powdercoat them to match my truck?
