intake improvements

For a 91 2.8L V-6, is there anything that i could do to improve the air intake.

I have K&N air filter in there now.

I think Edelbrock makes an intake manifold for the 2.8L

I had that same setup a few years ago on my '91. I took the factory air cleaner off and plugged the vac hose running to the flap in the tube. I then bought an edelbrock 10"-round, chrome air cleaner and put my K&N filter in it. it fit perfectly. the air cleaner only cost about $15-20 if I remember right. worked great. Cheap way to have an open intake. I sold the truck to my cousin and it's still running great with that setup and he's had it for about 5-6 years.

i personally never saw one Edlebrock intake manifold for the TBI, just the carb

could i take a manifold for a carb and put my TB on it

you would have to make a custom adapter , i would go with a carb any way
the 2.8 isnt the best piece of hardware
