run an inline fuse holder with a 50 amp fuse.

on second thought. how many watts does the amp put out????
generally, take the total rms watts of the amp and divide by 10. that will give you an idea of what you need. for example, my sub amp puts out 1500 w rms x 1. 1500/10=150. i use a 150 amp anl fuse.
note that i said generally. this is not always the case.

there should be fuses in the amp but run a inline fuse for your trucks sake
also make sure you have the inline fuse within 12 inches to the battery, closer if you can.
something to consider when purchasing fuses, make sure you get instant fuses and make sure you can find replacements when needed and that they do not cost alot, i made a mistake and had a real nice fuse block in a car i had and when one blew it was $10 for one fuse and they where hard to find.
