the h.o. 3.8 taurus fans are really good but im honestly not sure if they can be used as a puller

He asked about a PUSHER.

Pullers work better because they SUCK the air through every part of the radiator while the pusher BLOWS only in the area right in front of the blades.

You may be able to use a FLEX-A-LITE 210 or 220 as either a pusher or a puller.

first, three core is not always a good idea
by the time the air gets past the first core it's already heated, then by the time it goes through the second core it's even hotter, doing little to cool the third core.
so almost any fan you put on it is not going to do much if you are over heating now

second, pusher is not the best way to go, pullers in almost all cases work better, now if you have clearance problems with that huge 3 core, then that's just another reason to get rid of it.

third, to answer your question, you want no less then a 16" fan, preferably a very fast one with a shroud.

The best radiator for the v8 s-10 is a corvette radiator ('83-89).

It is a 1 row aluminium radiator with a bigger row then most radiators and plastic tanks.
The radiator is thinner giving you more clearence for fans.
I've found the radiator for about $117.84 at:

here is a link to the picture and specs. of it:

here is a link to Flex-a-lite for the fans:

I hope this info helps out.
Good luck.

Yup. Just look in the radiator and count how many holes in the tank from front to back.
