OK, I just got this thing a few days ago and the instructions don't seem to help much. Does anyone or has anyone used this shift point thingy on it? It has a 1-2 shift of +/-6mph, a 2-3 shift of +/-12mph and a 3-4 shift of 16+/- mph. I sat my 1-2 shift to +6 and my 2-3 to +10 and left 3-4 shift normal. Does anyone have a better setting for this? I don't drag race or any kinda race with it, I just drive back and forth to work and pass the occational moron every now and then. I was driving it the other night, after I reprogrammed it and when I was in 2nd or 3rd, I punched it and when it downshifted, it sounded like it was redline and waiting for a clutch to be released, although mine's an auto, if that makes sense? Also, when I "punch" it from a dead stop, my wheel hop is extremely awful!! It even has the anti-hop shock on it and it hops bad, way bad, since I've done the tuning to it. Anyone have an idea as to why it does this now?

It will let the engine rev further than normal to get to that optimized shift point. Mine did that, but never had the wheel hop. I noticed that same thing with mine. It reved a little too long. It was almost like it was waiting on something, but when it got to redline and shifted, it felt awesome. It was kinda scary at first, but after a few times you know what to expect from it. Mine didn't have optional settings on the points, so I'd set the shift point all the way up to +6 on the 1-2 shift and back off on it as long as it feels like it's reving too far and actually losing torque. I'd go backwards from 6 until it felt like the tourqe was at its max and not dropping off. Then, leave it set there. After a certain point, revving is not helping with power. It actually drops, so set the shift at the max tourqe. Ideally, you would use a dyno to set the shift points at the max tourqe reading just as it levels or drops off. Excessive reving past the max tourqe isn't gaining power, it's just wasting gas. Hope that helps a little.

well i found out if you use 28 psi instead of 35 or 32 wheel hop is greatly reduced

before i did that the whole truck use 2 jump around like it had a gorilla in the bed
i cant find traction bars for are trucks

hpp3 isnt perfect they need to make a new one

its just holding in there so it can take adavantge of the 200 horsepower it claims

meaning 190 + 10 = 200
