Wanted: Lt1 Help

I Am Looking For Any Help On The Lt1 Swap Into A 97 S10 Truck. I Would Like A 6 Speed And 350-400hp. Has Anyone Done This Who Lives In A Emission County/state?or Do You Know How To Get Around It Or What It Takes To Pass?i Am Also Looking For A Lt1 Engine Complete So Let Me Know What U Got.

Well,
I'm currently doing a similar swap but into a 2200lb Chevrolet Vega. Before I get too technical can you tell me how you expect to get that kind of horsepower, whether you want that rear-wheel horsepower, and what kind of experience you have with vehicles.

I'm not trying to be an asshole. The swap is 'not' straightforward by any means. There are 2 generations of the LT1, but you may have less hassle with TPI. What are your intentions? Race? Gas mileage?
