alright i got this friend that got a 86 305 with center boltheads from a tbi setup in his 3rd generation camaro , he doesnt wanna run the tbi injection an he wants to stick 71 heads that came off a van 350 hes never gonna rebuild that thing is just gonna sit on my motor stand 4 ever , any way he thinks the 350 heads will flow better ,

any way can he do it , isnt there block differences ?

an there is no point in buying new or used heads unless there cheap ,

an he doesnt wanna buy a manifold , cuss he has a stock one from the 350 .

Well, putting 350 heads on a 305 is a bad thing, youll drop a point in compression due to the 350s larger valve pocket.They will flow about the same, still not worth a crap.To use the older intake with the 305 center heads just (angle) drill out the center 4 bolt holes on the intake. Use a 1/2 drill bit and go to town.Ive done it befor and its not hard at all.

a 305 (56cc stock) with 76 cc heads will net ya somewhere around 7.5:1 great if you want to run a blower: useless for any other aplication,
