Subs in S10

anybody got pick of a s10 ext cab with subs? also anybody have subs in an excab and stil have access to their pulldown seats?

i don't have subs, the dual flowmasters and the v8 is all the sound i need.

i dont have an ex cab but i know a way you can do that...do a crawl thru...run the subs in the bed ported thru the cab wall....maintain all the roomin the cab.... just a thought....

i like that idea for now...but im still 17 and have to use the bed for moving various things often...soon enough ill be buying a 4x4 blazer to beat on and stop using my truck as a daily driver and stop using it in the winter.

in my old s10 i installed an infinity basslink. It is a 10" sub with 200 watt RMS amp it fits well behind the drivers seat and give enough room to fit a person in back (uncomfortably) It sounds good and puts out a decent amount of sound. Pretty much perfect for a pickup.

You can get the infinity basslink on ebay for about $250 shipped

HEy,
This is also pretty much the exact situation im in.I have a 1989 Extended cab S10 and got some speakers for it but am missing the low end. I dont listen to much rap mostly Rock and am just looking for some bump cuz right now with 4x6's and the 4x10's i dont get much.the infinity bass link looks to be exactly what I want and they have sweeet prices for it on ebay. I have 2 questions where exactly did u place it in your extended cab and could u still use the jump seats.

PS if u have any pictures u could post of where u placed it that would be great.

hey man im 18 so i know what you mean. i have a 10" and an amp. i just bought a thin box and put that to the back wall where the jack hook up used to be. and my amp is mounted on the floor. and i set it up so that i can still use one of my pull downs so not too bad. its not finished off yet cuz ive been having some trouble with the sub. (be careful when using an amp that puts out more than your sub can handle i found out the hard way that i didnt turn it down enough!!) But if you wanna see some pics just let me know and id be happy show you.

where did u place the basslink and were u still able to use both jump seats??

i got 2 12" in mine. i remove the driverside backseat for one, cause my seat goes to far, so nobody is able to sit there anyway. The other one is behind the other back seat. the only problem is that i can't lift it anymore, but at least i can use it. and the amp is under the driver seat, so there is nothing to see from outside
