I only have about 4 more car shows left this season before I take my truck off the road for the winter and of course something has to mess up. The rear engine seal is leaking oil like its pissin. I could pull the engine and skip the shows and take it off the road now, or I can put in an additive. Not a fan of additives but I want to do these last few shows so...pull engine or additive?

Additive, finish the season. You will be pulling the motor eventually and if your smart you will replace the oilpan gasket while its out ,and possibly install a nice B&m stall converter. Check your motor mounts after its out also. The last motor I did I replaced and anything and everything that I could while it was out ,Makes life easier down the road. :D

.Additives won’t work if it is the rear main seal. Trust me I tried them to seal my leaking rear main seal and they just are a waist of money. If you want to go to those shows just clean under your truck and then go and just park over a spot that already has oil there so they don't realize it came from your truck
