95 s10 , three broken wheel studs on the same wheel. ( don't ask, lol). i wanted to take the wheel off, in the process i broke three studs, i only left the other two on there so i could drive it two minutes to a shop.

what's involved in chaging studs on the rear wheels? anyone know how?? is it easy /hard? any info on changing rear studs appreciated.

it is a rear wheel, hence drum. there is a big plate on the backside of the drum and hub soi can't even see the studs. here's a pic to show you what i'm talking about:

For a rear wheel you have to pull the axle shaft to get to the studs. If you have no expierence with axles I would reccomend have a shop do it. A good tech can do it in about an hour.

Unless they redesigned things, you should be able to pull the drum, pound out the studs and install the new ones. Front fairly the same, pull the rotor, pound 'em out & install.
