hey, does anyone know if the factory puts some sort of glue on the bottom of the bed or on the frame when they put the bed on, cause i had to put a new one on and it squeaks like crazy, i dont know what to do to shut it up. i've re-checked the bolts lots, its tight. any help will be great, thanks

mine does the exact same thing. try changing the leaf springs.
there are a few nylon/plastic washers that keep the bed from rubbing metal-to-metal with the frame. They are mounted to the frame and shouldn't have fallen off when you changed beds, but maybe. When I took my bed off to relocate my EVAP canister I saw them on there. ??

cool, plastic washers is exactly what i need then. i'll have to call the dealership and find out if they have them. oh and regarding the possibility of leaf springs, i doubt it cause they're brand new belltech drop leafs. anyways, thanks ya'll!

okay so the chevy dealership had no idea what i was talking about, what years are you guys refering to? maybe they just weren't used on my year and it was some sort of glue, i have a 93, so it's the old body style. thanks

get some of the foam tape for caps and put that down around the mounting pads

You could also make your own rubber washers out of an old inner tube. Otherwise get a plastic mud flap and use a hole saw the diameter you want the washers to be. :)
