gibson swept side on a 4.3

i want to know what the gibson swept side exaust system sounds like on a 4.3.does it sound like a ricer or does it have a low rumble?i want a rumble without the pops and ricer sound

I like mine on the Blazer. Not to loud during cruise modes and get get up there and make a deep louder sound at higher rpms but not overdone.
Fits like a glove and isnt so free in flow that it does pop when you get outta it.

its a nice system and like old man said its not to free, but as for sound i didnt get much out of it. just a little bit of rumble here and there. you deff. dont have to worry about the ricer sound with this system

Flyinbryan06, have you had a hard time getting your truck to pass inspection with that exhaust installed? I was thinking about getting one for my truck. I only live 20-30 minutes from you in Eliot, and you know how they are about vehicles in Maine. Just wanted to check before I spend the money and have them not pass me.

The Gibson and most other COMPLETE cat backs are CARB approved which passes in any state.
The Gibson at first isnt to loud, but it does offer that GM Fbody rumble. As it wears in it does get somewhat louder and deeper. I always did prefer the rumble deep tones over obnoxious sounds most other sytems have. I like that old school rumble that now only the top of the line cars like the Vettes and F Bodys have!!
The only other system I would recommend that is #1 in my book for sound, but is pricey is the Borla systems, nothing else compares!!!
Dynomaxs are not bad sounding, but flowmasters and the rest have that tinny ricey sound to them!
