s10 vs. colorado xtreme

i was going to a car show tonight when 2 kids in a colorado extreme i think or it had a body kit on it anyways (first one iv ever seen) pulled up next to me at a light he reved his engine trying to be a smart ass or somthing i did the same so anyway after that i left that poor boy chokin in tire smoke by at least 4 links to the next light managed to do that twice when he finally gave up heres a question that i need to know i thought those colorados had more horsepower cause of some straight five cylinder thing or am i wrong i didnt think an s10 was faster i have a few mods but not enuff for 4 links maybe he missed a gear or somthing.

Colorados are slow. They have more hp but less torque. I beat one from stoplight to stoplight before and it wasn't much of a challenge. I won't be worried until gm produces the colorado SS. If they ever do.

I dont think he missed a gear, cause i'm pretty sure that all colorados are automatic. i've said it once an i'll say it again, the copy is never as good as the original.
