Hi, i was wandering if i could put 18x9.5 corvette zo6 rims on the front and 18x10.5 rims on the back of my 98 s10. I dont know if they would fit even with spacers. Thanks for all your help

I am saving my money for a set of 18" zo6 motorsports rims and getting the insides painted pewter metallic to match my truck, and the polished outside ring. I think they would look good. Are 2" spacers safe and will they damage my already modded suspension?Thanx

make sure you buy a good CNC machined set. dont go cheap and buy a set of cast aluminum spacers. they will break for sure.

I would be sure to talk to a tire pro before using any spacers as my friend used 1.75" spacers and had wheel/axel berring problems there after. Sounds like it will look cool though, be sure to post some pics.

It's certainly not good for performance. My brother had spacers on his and he didn't have any visible problems in the short period of time before his dime got creamed by an 18 wheeler. They are weaker than just bolting up to the axle, so be careful over bumps and what-not.

The good steel spacers are heavy, and with the extra weight of the bigger wheels and tires, unsprung weight is going to toss the truck pretty good on bumps. If you're just cruising low, slow, and careful, no problem. If you're planning on some performance driving, get wheels with the proper backspacings and don't use spacers.

By the way, I have Z06 wheels on my 99 S10, but I also have Z06 suspension, steering, and brakes.

ONE OF THE TRUCKS I BUILT DID HAVE Z-06 WHEELS 17X9.5 FRT. & 18X11 REAR
FOR THE FRT. I CONTACTED BAKER BLACKIE MACHINE IN HOUSTON TX. AND THEY
MACHINED ME SOME BILLET STEEL 2'' WHEEL ADAPTORS.
THIS GIVES YOU ENOUGH CLEARANCE FOR THE SPINDLE ARM!
ON THE REAR,
[ 18X11'S WILL WORK! ] BUT IS A LITTLE MORE INVOLVED.
GO TO YOUR LOCAL BONEYARD AND FIND A TRUCK ABOUT YOUR YEAR MODEL,
EXCEPT IT HAS TO BE A 4X4 THIS REAR END IS 4-1/2'' WIDER THAN A 2 WHEEL DRIVE, THIS MAKES THE WHEELS SIT PERFECTLY IN THE REAR FENDERWELL!
