that isnt the one i am trying to describe but thank you. the one i need is for the transmission. i saw somewhere that someone was making one for the s-10 and there was a website but i cant remember it.
I've got one of those. It comes from Devious Customs in Ontario, California. It's $145 shipped and it includes a new energy suspension black polyurethane trans mount ($20-30 value). You can buy it without the mount, but it's only about $10 less, so get the new mount. Call them from the # on their site. deviouscustoms.com. the xmember is not shown on there. I had to modify mine slightly to get it all to work. they don't send instructions that I remember, nor does it install perfectly. It fits great, but the hardware they sent really didn't make sense, so I just installed it my own way. I drilled out the center hole for the mount so I could get a socket into the bar to tighten the mount. You really need a long bolt to reach all the way through the bar, but I didn't have one. They didn't send one either. The exhaust hanger is a pain in the ass too. the holes are threaded in the stock crossmember, but not in the new one.???? I just drilled those holes out a little more and used some of the extra hardware they sent. It's a quality part, but not really designed t install without some work. If you need some help with it, PM me and we can talk. You'll also have to paint it.
Use this as a guide:
Crossmember install from Mini Truckin' (http://www.minitruckinweb.com/tech/0407mt_drag/)
Check out the part about recessing the driver's side bolts for extra clearance. That's what I did with mine.
