depends on your budget, good amps that size go from 150-750 depending upon brand and channels

k, that means a 300rms and up to 800max. Dont trust sony's max wattage. I would reccomend a small alpine or mtx amp like around 500 watt max would make a nice sound and add to the longevity of your sub.

rms is power full time, and peak is good for short bursts.

naw you wont have power issuses unless your running like 1000 watts or a amp an neons or video screens , if u see a lil flicker in your head lights i just turn down the interior/guage lights a lil bit .

but if u have bad flickers than its time for a new battery hopefully a perfromacne one like a yellow top optima

your not buying the amp from walmart i hope

i seen thoses amps on the side of installlation kits but never up close or in a store

you can buy a capacitor, but it would just be for show cause you shouldnt even come close to needing one
