So far in my s-10 I ahev only had a few chances at racing.

#1 Ford Contuor No competition untill the comp kicked off at 94
#2 2000 model mustang a little bit of competition , that was untill it shut down at 95
# Lexus 300 No competition untill a malibu pulled out in front of us and my truck shut down at 95 once again.

Um... yea.... I have a 4 Cyl. I dont feel like being embarassed by a 86 Corrola.

But the only race I remember was Vs. a 06 Ram Hemi.

I've raced a Ranger or two from light to light..........................no competition. The "SS" isn't called a "Ranger Killer" for no reason ;) .
Other than that I've eaten a few imports, nothing special, a few Hondas and an Integra. Oh yeah, I tried to race a 5.9L Dakota R/T a few weeks back. He ate me and spat me out :cry: ......................

98 z28 camaro and a 99 z28 camaro - no problem
96 mitsu 3000gt VR4 heavy mods- owned me (like i was standing still)
03 mustang GT conv and hard top- blew the doors off them
many inferior cars and trucks- no problem
and many stupid races that the other persons had no chance.

On the street from light to light, which I don't make it a habit of doing:

96ish honda civic. Beat him, he was right on my rear bumper and I was pulling on him and he shut down.

V6 mustang. He got the jump on me and I caught up and was starting to pass him and we both shut it down.(traffic)

4x4 Colorado. No real competition there.

I never beat anyone at the track, but here's what beat me:

An Acura integra
A couple of STI's
A full race crx
A corvette
A lancer evo
A srt-4 neon (that one hurt just because it's a neon) ha,ha

i havent reaced anyone yet in killeen but i raced a camaro ss, a toyota tercel(that was a joke), and several civics. the camaro murdered me, but the others went better

Lets see Here is some stuff I remember.

With the 84 2.8 carb auto (then stick several years later)
I could beat ANY car that would line up next to me. Once the light would turn green they would leave me in the dust though....lol

88 S-10 350
3000GT VR4 barely on the straight line. once the curves started, I got whooped
Mustangs
Some Camaros
Ricers
Lost to a sleeper CRX by about 1/2 car

94 S-10 SS (When stock)
several 2000 ish Civic SI on several occations
98 Prelude Auto
Ricers
Mustang V6's
Xtreme V6
Nissan 240sx
Tundra V8
F150
98Audi A4 1.8t
96 VW GTI 1.8T

Same 94 S-10 SS after rebuild and some mods (all these racers were at the track since I have grown up)
2003 Lexus IS300 stick
Several 96 240sx's modified bolt ons
Lost to friend's Mazda RX8 6speed by .15 sec
Silverado
Acord V6

Going to the track on Dec 9th so I will have more stories. I also like to run against fast cars even if I cannot beat them. I just hate hanging around Ricers.

1995 vw corrado with vr6: my buddy and me were racing and my truck tops out at about 160kms and he was easily doing 190 or so but then out of nowhere this truck pulls out in front of me so i slam on the brakes. Next time i see the corrado its on the side of the road with a cop. he got a ticket for doing 170 in a 60 zone. haha

So i'm guessing you have v6?? Watch out for some contours, as some are much quicker than my sable....

Notable kills,

Old S10: A hevily modified 01 Mustang v6(ran a 15.3n/a.... :confused: )
Numerous 3rd gen fbody's.....

Current sable: s/c riviera, 4 EP civic si's, a b16 swapped EG civic, integra gsr, and a stock 5.0L 5sp fox body....

oh ya i my trucks a 1998 s10 ext cab w/4.3 and auto. Its stock cept for K&N intake and magna flow exhaust. It does have a ****ed tranny tho. He had a vr6 5spd.

nuttin serious jus messin around with my friends cuz i dont wanna get publicly embassed(i have a almost dead 2.8 with tha kickdown unhooked..)

anyway ive raced my friends 84 c-10 with a 350 i got him at first(only becuz his tires have no grip and he was spinnin)...when he stoped spinnin i was smoked....

im not plannin on racin until i get a new moter hopefully a 350...i dont know yet if i sould rebuild my 2.8 and soup it up or not...

I'd go with the 350 instead of trying to "soup up" your 2.8. Just my $.02

ive beat a maurader
almost made a focus blow up to keep up to me
a fellow s10, i believe it was a 4.3
an explorer (i had a broken driveshaft bearing too)
almost beat a 5.0 mustang (87-93 model)

dont really go out anymore, due to work and college

colorado xtreme..beat him
a tiburon (4 cyl)...beat him
silverado...beat him
my big bros Titan...beat him in the 1/4 lost in the long run
a Tank back on fort riley...beat him...it's bullshit if you think they can only go 70 MPH..they can go alot faster...

camaro...I lost
Lightning...I lost..
and a viper...at the track...and I think you can guess what happend there

I haven't really been hunting for races but the few I've had include:

2003 Corvette : Yeah you guessed it I lost, but it was fun

2006 New V8 Mustang GT : Yes, lost again, but it was close, he never got more than a car lengths in front of me between the lights (long spaced lights quite rode)

Unknown Year Modded Honda Accord : Lost, I swear a turbo was whisteling in that thing, no clue...

2001 V8 Mustang GT (not a cobra) : I won, and he was surprised, wonder why...hehe

200x VW Jetta VR6 : I won, not a big surprise

200x VW GTI 1.8T : I won

Couple misc crappy ricers : I won, usually pisssing them off

1990s Ford Ranger : LOL

Next goal is to get the V6 S/C up to beating the newer Mustang GT cars. I'm not to far from that...

havnt raced too many people in my 2003 s10, but in my 1994 s10 ss i raced a newer style model maxima - won. A 1993 z28 - won. A mustang 5.0 lost by less than a car length. and a ws6 transam - got spanked to all hell ( just raced to see what he could do, sweet f-ing car)

Adam what are you running in the 1/4 mile?
I do not see how you won against a 93 Z28 which is a 275hp LT1 and lost to a 225hp 5.0.
By the way what are your mods?

Put an azzwhooping on a Colorado xtreme 3.5L 5sp......same one that picked a fight with my focus, this time the sable left him thinking wtf? hahaha, lol.

I ussually don't race things I think I don't have a chance against, but so far:

94 F150 (dunno if it was a 302 or a 351). From 0 - 70. Smoked them.
Grand Am (Dunno if it was 4cyl or v6) - From 30-90. Sorta even, I pulled away slightly.
2001 Silverado (Dunno if it was 4.8 or 5.3) - 55-95. We were even until mine cut off.

Played around with 2 ford minivans (hehehehehe... no competetion there)...
and one 97ish buick lesabre 35-60ish (beat them.. fairly well). I'm sure if it were from a roll the 3800 might have beat me.

Well what can I say. Usually as a sniper, after an hour of gaming I end up with 70 kills 10 deaths and a few flag captures to put me in 1st or 2nd place out of 60 people. There's nothing more rewarding than hitting a Nazi in the head with a Springfield sniper riffle and splattering digital blood all over the wall.

The hunter chooses the hunting ground.

When I go FPS I ussually do CS:S though.

Been so busy with work and life I haven't had time for jack though...
Play a little WoW and CS once in a blue moon.. Haven't touched anything in months... besides GTA San Andreas.. I play that game all hours of every day. I've got a nice IROC-Z camaro in there that I just drift with.. everyday after work.. lol. Making some vids.
