k i have all the stuff i want to make my reg cab loud as **** but im wonder if i should put some 6x9's in there to make it louder! i have the subs for the lows the kappa perfects with tweeters for the mids and highs, and infinity references in the dash for regular speaker use. the 6x9 would be used on my head unit for my rear speakers should i do this or is it to ghetto and just plain trying to hard to get attention on how loud my system can be.

RU gonna be putting these speakers through an amp? That will make them louder than ****. Just get a 4 channel amp 50-150w RMS per channel. Just make sure your speakers can handle that much power.

NO

do not put 6x9s in there. you will not even notice them. the only thing they would do is add distortion.

iVE GOT A REGULAR CAB AND 6X9'S BEHIND THE SEAT PUSHING 200 WATTS AND ALL THEY DO IS CONTRIBUTE A LITTLE MORE 'FULL SOUND' IN THE CAB, REALLY NO DIFFERENCE

this is generally a no-no. the less number of speakers you have, the easier it will be to make it sound right. all you really need is a great component set that is amped and a sub or two. when you start putting a crap load of speakers in there, the worse it will sound due to cancellation.
