dang thats alot of miles ive got 151,000 on my 1994. And I can spin the tires when it hits second and chirps to third 4th? i think not. Every now and then i like to act a fool too because when you fix it or add some performance you want to play with it.

i think i'm going to name my sdime Chirpy Boy...

from a stand still everyone can chirp...even the TuTus

on morning roads when the sprinklers are hitting the pavement...stomping while approaching 45mph will cause my rear end to whip around...

on dusty asphalt stomping from 35mph makes a nice short length screech...

and sometimes...stomping from 70mph will cause the rear end to almost whip around...but thats in a mercedes with 700+ lb-fts of torque...haha...i wish i had one...

my truck has a problem to, the tires always want to spin when you hit the gas, see video for details.

I can do it, I just asked about open diff. Because I drive a blazer which I guess has more weight, 30" tires, and a limited slip rear end and I cannot break it loose that easily on dry. When cornering I can yeah...and when wet its not hard at all, but not going down a straight dry road . Also forget you have actualy pickups which makes it a lot easier to break the rear end due to less weight :). Not complaining though, limited slip makes my blazer well mannered in most cases for a rwd truck and handles like charm! Quick question my truck is kinda old...93' 278 000 km how long is the limited slip diff usually or supposed to take to kick in?

V8s tend to do that, Mike. My LS6 is not as bad as the ol' 91 with a 383. Well, maybe it was as bad when I had the nitrous on it. Well, I guess it was pretty bad. 650+ hp will do that. But it isn't so bad without the nitrous, and no import can keep up. Can't wait until I have time to build a blown 427 LS6 to replace the stock LS6. Already have a spare long block.

with a powerbrake at 2200rpm i left a good single wheel patch about 70 feet long-the wheel just didnt want to stop spinning, so who am I to try and limit that?!

ive also gotten my 130,000mile truck to chirp once going into second, a small one though

I can still "scratch" third gear in my ol' 2.8 (stock) with more than 209k miles on her. Granted it may only be the right tire but ...

Telemarshallman is not bull shitting. It is possible. I could scratch 3rd gear in my lightly modified 2.8 with 180,000 on it, on a really good day when the earth, moon and sun were in perfect alignment. It certainly did not happen every time, but if you caught that gear just right and the motor was running tip top you could lightly scratch third.
