my wiper cowl has some kind of wierd plastic screws in it, and they do not seem to want to thread out...help?

take a drill bit and jam it into the screw and chew it out. that will work

I just slide a small screw driver under the edge an pry up while turning the plastic screw cause the down force of you keeping the philipshead screwdriver in place kinda strips the threads.
But if you can get hold of them you can sometimes just pull them out withoutbreakin them Just be careful.
