LED LIGHTS FOR DASH & FACE CHANGE

Has any one changed there stock lights to LED's in there dash? I want to change my stock bulbs to LED's. Is it a difficult task to do? Is there welding involved? I saw this website for S10's to change the dash lights and face. http://www.whitegauges.net/ If I do this mod I will put in blue LED's with a silver face plate.

I have a face replacement, not decals like those are on that site. I haven't changed the bulbs, but I do know that since the led's don't have a 360 degree light output, your lighting will probably have dark spots in it. the stock bulbs and reflectors inside the case create an even distribution of the light from the bulbs. the led's will throw that off. It will still look okay, but not quite as even as stock.
