:D I am finally done with my stereo purchasing for my crew cab!
I went with :

MB Quart 4" premium component speakers for the dash.

Diamond Audio 6.5" component for the front door ( less the tweeters, I dropped one and broke it, so I decided the front tweets would suffice )

MB Quart 6.5" discus component for the rear door ( I switched the mb crossover with the diamond crossover to be able to fine tune the front mid frequency).

1 8" sony sub, in a .79 cf inside measured box behind the left side of the cab, allowing the use of the jack. Not a great sub but it had all the specs I was looking for.

1 - 5 channel orion amp

2 awg wire from the battery to a rockford dist block then 8 awg to the amp

Stinger rca's

Alpine cda 9825 deck.

Now all I need is the time to install all this stuff

Anybody wanna help? :D

Wouldn't that be a good deal? LOL

Hey! 02whtxblazer I believe I read somewhere that you have component speaks in the dash. I was wondering where you put the large crossover? Down in the kick panel, or in the dash along side the speak? and do you think it matters on how far away the crossover is to the placement of the speakers?

my components are actually in my doors. i have a 4" coaxial in my dash.

i have storage compartments next to my rear seats that made a fine house for the crossovers.

i have no idea where you could put them in a crew cab. i am not familiar with their interiors. maybe under the front seats????

they say to put the crossover as close to the speakers as possible.
