Yea, Get some 2 inch Belltech Drop Spindles and 3 inch angled blocks. With this drop it should ride just like it does at the momment.

proper drop will be spindles and drop leaves with a 2" block. You will need to buy angled blocks and add a 3 degree shim kit to it from jagsthatrun.com. There's lots of other stuff involved that you may not want to pay for but will almost be required for a problem free drop. you will need a raised carrier bearing crossmember, relocated EVAP canister, and removed rear bumpstop brackets. You will also need to add bumpstops to the framerails-energy suspension #9.9118g works well. You may have to have the ubolts in the block kit pressed down to 2.75" inner diameter to fit properly. also add energy suspension Gm style bumpstops #9.9150r to the lower control arms to help bottom-out and rubbing. There are lots of details to take care of when going past a 3" drop. If you don't get a raised crossmember, you will drag the hell out of the stock one. You're looking at some majot time and money to do it right-a lot less money if you drop it yourself and take care of all the other related stuff.

Yes!!!, invest in a crossmember!!!!! I twisted the bottom of mine and had to get a new one. BTW, anyone know where I can buy carbide pads to keep my truck from layin the front frame and spark like crazy.
the 2" blocks should be fine and spindles will make for a smooth ride in the front. and the leafs in the back with the blocks would be a fairly good ride also. My truck rides really well except for when I hit the craters Evansville calls "potholes" and the mountains they call "expansion joints" on their bridges....LOL you will have to buy drop shocks and start watching your gas tank for random dents(i'm getting worried of them!!!) prolly gonna do a fuel cell convo before long(I hope) Good luck
