R components worth it?

i cant say 100%but i would think they would sound better than a full range speaker. they would still have to be wired up to a crossover of some sort......... ( usually comes with speaker set )just my opinion... mattio

they will sound better than stock. you would notice a huge difference after amping them though.

It also has to deal with what kind of components you are talking about because different brands react to amps differently than others... but yes definitely; any speaker running off of an amp is going to sound a lot different in my opinion, thats not to say that it will make them a lot louder or anything but the sound quality will be better than if they were just running off of your deck
