Wrecked my 92 4-banger and caved in the front driver's side. I pulled parts from the wrecking yard and almost everything is back in working order.
Only thing vexing me is the clutch pedal. After the crash, it was pushed in and wouldn't disengage. I found that whatever secured the cylinder in the firewall must've come out and I went back to the yard for another part.
All I found out there was a little silver-colord clip, circular (like an almost-closed "C") with two little holes where the ends met. Is this ALL that hold that clutch cylinder in the firewall?
Do I just slide it into the groove in the cylinder?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
