"03" mirror painting

How do I go about doing this? and doesn't the paint chip off from stones. I wanted to paint the mirrors, and the part under the windshield wiper arms, all truck color.

If you have the textured cowl cover, you'll need to sand it well with 180 grit or so and cover it with a thin layer of bondo. sand that smooth with 400, then prime it with some building primer and sand that smooth with 400 also. paint it.

on the mirrors, do the same. yes, the paint can chip of it gets hit hard enough.
