Which tbi to use?

I have a tbi from a 305 a on off of my 4.3. Which one should I use? The 305 tbi has a different tps sensor on it and my wiring will not plug in. Will it hurt the performance if I use the one off of the 4.3?

why dont you use the 305 TBI with the 4.3 TPS

I think I came across this same problem when with my 2.8. Does one of your TPS's look like this...

If so, just get the connector from the one you don't have originally and just splice it in where the original connecter was. The wire color codes are the same. It is that simple. I hope this helps.

I got the new plug and when I compared the two tbi units I realized that the throttle bracket is not on the 305 one the cables also attach differently. I went ahead and put the 4.3 tbi on my 350. Can anyone tell me if it will hurt the performance>

I am pretty sure all you have to do is put in bigger injectors and you should be fine.

take a wild guess....duhh

If the throttle body itself has the same bore diameters then you can put the 350 injectors and you should be fine otherwise you will run lean and yes it will hurt performance and possibly your engine depending on how lean it runs.

The bores look the same. Should I swap out the injectors from the v8 tbi into mine. Hasent anyone done this? I have alot of money in the motor and I dont want to hurt anything. Please help
