Long story, so bare with me.

I have been wanting a smooth windshield wiper cowl without the wiper holes for a while now. I noticed that itsraw.com has them. I have read on this forum as well as others not to get anything from them. Since they are the only place that sells them, I had no choice. I ordered it early because I put my Blazer in the body shop on May 22 to have some work done.

May 2 - called them to order it. The person that takes the orders wasn't in so they took my name and number and said I would get a call back.

May 4 - still no call back so I called again. They took my name and my order but the person that handles the credit cards wasn't in so I was supposed to get a call back to give my cc info.

May 8 - still no call back. I called East Coast Customs and ordered my roll pan. I called RAW again to order it and the owner answered. I ordered it, gave him my cc info and I thought everything was good.

May 11 - roll pan came in. ECC is a great company to deal with.

May 30 - still no wiper cowl. I called them and they said it shipped the 29th. I told them my cc still hadn't been charged for it. He looked around and said he didn't have my cc info. I told him I had given it to him and reminded him what we talked about on the phone. He said oh yeah, here is your cc info.

May 31 - got a call from the owner and said my cc wouldn't go through. Yeah right, I had plenty of money in the bank.

June 5 - finally got it in and it wasn't what I expected. I thought it would sit even with my hood, but it doesn't. If they would have had a picture of one installed on a vehicle, I wouldn't have bought it. Also, it looks like a drunk person cut it out. The line against the windshield is crooked. I am going to have to bondo it and sand to get it looking right. It does fit though.

While I was on the phone with the owner when I ordered it, he asked me where I had heard about them. I told him I saw his company mentioned on various forums. I also told him I was a moderator on one of the forums. I figured since I told him that I was on various forums, he would get on the ball and get it to me fast and all that. But no.

So basically I am telling you to avoid them if possible. My experience with them tells me that they can't even keep up with orders and credit card numbers. What is so hard about being organized?

Here are pictures of it installed.

I have about 2K saved up and now that I am working 70-80H a week its almost hard to get to the site. Body shop that I took my truck is gonna run me for $3400 this includes painting the entire truck.

So I guess you are keeping it then. See how much extra they would charge to shave some stuff since they are already going to be painting it.....

if you lived closer we could get it fixed an a fraction of the cost ,

my friend helped me with the same problem , 1200 $ 2 fix it ya right , yours you would want a new door mine wasnt that bad ,

he wraped his 70 mustang around a poll at 35 couldnt tell it today ,

why not just invest in some tools and a welder and do it your self

get it ready for paint , you might want the tools so you can bag that sucker later on

Pull out a "fix it" loan from your bank and use that money to pay the body shop. Pay the loan off over the summer. $3400? Come on that's easy for 40+ hours.

You'll have a finished truck AND a good start on a solid credit build, even if a parent has to co-sign.

That sucks! So, this is it, no itsraw.com for anything. I'm so glad I ordered my roll pan from E.C.C. I'll second the fact that they were nothing but a top notch experience! :D

I allready have the loan proccessed and waiting until the 18th when I can take the truck into the body shop.

Only thing I will have them do is shave the tailgate handle. I am not a fan of the shaved look. I like the look of an unfinished project or the stock look.
