Anybody have any reviews on Edelbrock shocks? I'm looking for new shocks for my Blazer and was wondering on how these are? I'd trust em with my engine parts!

Had them on a 01 Blazer and were OK, my only thing with them was they rode a bit tight/hard!! Bilistens that came on it were to springy and those were the opposite which was and improvement on the short wheel base Blazer, but just a tad to firm!

The Edelbrock Performer RPM twin-tubes ride over small stuff about like the stock ZQ8 shocks, which are noticably stiffer than standard shocks. However, the ride softens up over moderate bumps, then stiffens again on really harsh bumps. Overall, the ride is much improved over ZQ8 shocks and handling is much improved over standard shocks. Rough surface handling is improved over ZQ8 shocks, but smooth surfaces are about the same.

The Edlebrock monotubes ride and handle about like the ZQ8 shocks--stiffer than standard equipment.

They were better if the truck was loaded with about 800 lbs of feed, but never good. I replaced them with the aftermarket Bilsteins and it's all good now! Summit sells Bilstein now, they work better and cost less.

Which Edelbrocks did you have, the cheap ones (suck) or the good ones?
