lowering rear end

Can I take out the lower (smallest) leaf for a drop? How low would it actually lower my truck? Also towing is really not a big issue.

if you have the 3-leaf spring, then i think you're supposed to take out the middle one, not sure about the 4-leaf. i think it drops it almost two inches...

If you remove the overload leaf it won't do anything. You will have to remove one of the leaves that is arched. The middle one i believe. You'd be better off with drop leaves.
